Milwaukee, Wisconsin – RezilientKidz is expanding in Wisconsin with rising partnerships with schools, businesses, faith organizations, and Marquette University’s Educational Opportunity Program (EOP). Sharing the collaborative value that RezilientKidz brings to communities, our visit with local school leaders, pastors, and business owners was both encouraging and strategic.

Through these meetings, we discovered that the inner city students of Milwaukee experienced devastating results due to COVID restrictions, missing the majority of the school year of in-person instruction. Upon hearing the impact of Raising Highly Capable Kids (our premier parenting program), hope was ignited for this community — they are not alone!

Regional Rep Andrea Davis greeted friends before the Vision Casting presentation at Marquette University’s EOP Program — the recipient of our community grant.

Fifteen key leaders from local schools and businesses, as well as a number of parents, gathered to learn more about the opportunity of Raising Highly Capable Kids coming to their community.

Marquette’s Educational Opportunity Program originated in response to the Civil Rights movement at a critical time in the nation’s history to provide higher education opportunities for low-income and first-generation students. They partner with numerous schools and programs serving middle school and high school teens.

After being inspired by Marquette’s Vision Casting, Jammin 98.3 radio station promoted Raising Highly Capable Kids to the local community. These trips are always full of surprises!
